Took my 2000 Ford F-350 in for a service diagnostic(Truck had once been stolen had some loose wiring, doors didn't all open, overhead info. screen didn't work and steering wheel was off centered). Service advisor by the name of Shaun wrote the estimate up for $289 dollars, which I thought was a bit odd for not even looking at truck yet. Shaun called me back that afternoon and stated " the truck is not as bad as I thought, the loose wires is actually that of an alarm that was cut,the steering wheel can't be centered due to a broken column, the drivers door needs a new actuator and thew overhead console needed to be replaced. Total costs of $1050.00. The way he was fast talking me it didn't sound right so I told hime I would come by so he could show me what he was talking about. I came in and he showed me where the steering wheel cover had been removed and there was a tiny crack on the column where it might of been overtightened or something, the cover was off the driver door and the overhead console was down. I told him that price was too much so I'll just pay for the diagnostic and what will that be? Shaun stated "well its goner be much less than the $289 I quoted to fix the electrical, which again I thought was odd. The next day no call from Shaun so I went over the next day Fri. and was told Shaun was not there, the advisor who was covering said the charge for the diag. came out to be $209, I felt that was a little steep especially after a different dealer quoted me $79 I asked for the Mgr. who told I needed to come back and talk with Shaun. After 4 days of bickering I told Shaun to just go ahead and fix the doors. Two days later I paid $270 picked the truck up to find the doors still did not work, drove back up to the service lane, Shaun looked at the doors, tried to open them and all he could say was maybe all the doors needed a new actuator. Talk about a missed dianostic. I just got in my truck and drove off. Good thing I didn't pay them the $1050.

I'm in the military and everybody I talked said the have are no somebody that have had similar situation with Jones Ford and if they had known they would of told me not to take my truck there.
