I placed an order with Jordan Almonds/Hometown Candy on August 26,2008. I was ordering candy for the candy buffet at my wedding.

Jordan almonds/Hometown Candy sent me an order confirmation email and charged my cards August 28,2008. I assumed everything was in order and have engraved plaques made for my candy display. When I had not received anything regarding tracking by September 3,2008 ( I had paid for rush shipping) I began contacting the company regarding the status of my order. I received no response until September 7, 2008 when I received the following email

Dear Kathryn
Today a Refund has been authorized for credit back to your credit card.
Should you require a receipt, please respond to this email with the word "receipt" in the subject block.
We apologize for any inconvenience.

Your charge and your refund will appear on your statement as JordanAlmonds.com

Notice to Cardholder: A Credit has been approved for application to your account. The refund should be reflected in your credit card balance within 4-5
business days, depending on the policy of the card processors. Reversal claims initiated while a transaction is in Pending Credit or Credit status will be denied and will delay your credit. Claims of non-receipt of merchandise initiated within 30 days of a transaction are considered premature and out of time.

CANCELLATION:
Should we wish to cancel your order for any reason, please email us at info@JordanAlmonds.com with the word CANCEL in the subject block. If your order has not yet shipped, we will cancel and refund your order promptly.
If your order has shipped, then a refund will be issued after the package is returned to and received by us per the return policy set forth above. Chargebacks initiated without 3 day prior email notice of cancellation
will be assessed a $25 fee.

I STILL have not received a refund nor will the company return my calls or emails. They don't even have the decency to tell me that they would not be shipping my order until 5 days before my wedding!!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! THEY ARE A RIP OFF!!!
