I went to motorstreet auto in march 2009. I got a 99 gmc jimmy. I have made my payments up until this august of 2010 until I lost my job. I told the company I lost my job. There is a clause in the paperwork for when you lose your job that  " they help you and will not make you pay a payment until employment is back". BULL s**t. it is sept 10th 2010 and they tow my car away. really. over 490$. seriously.... now I get an email from the legal department to make payments on the rest of the amount owed to the car. the 5,000 I had left to pay off til the car was mine.  Should I sue?

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS COMPANY.

"There is a clause in the paperwork for when you lose your job that " they help you and will not make you pay a payment until employment is back". "

"Should I sue?"

Why do I get the feeling that what you quoted above is not the actual language quoted from the contract?   If that is in fact a direct quote from a signed sales contract, then you probably should sue them.  My guess is that it's not.
