I am a subscriber to Buxear Paid to Read e-mail cheme.
On 01 Aug, I paid $29.99 and $39.99 to Alertpay, a payment agency, using my Credit Card for purchasing 35 referral members and upgrading my status to Premium. This was to happen within 24-48 hours. I was upgraded in time. On upgradation, my referrals and I were to get at least 20 sites per day to read at an enhanced reward. I then referred my wife as a member, as she met stipulations prescribed by the site in their FAQs.

However, neither of the two conditions in my case have been met. I have not got any referral members, nor do I get the increased websites to read as promised on upgradation. I have reminded Buxear.com three times and they have not replied. On digging into their history-which was through a round about way and not directly, I found their Forum in which more than 20 Chinese and dozens of others had been defrauded, much like myself. I informed Alertpay immediately[Tx. no AlertService 514-748-1441]. I also informed my card agency, Citibank, slightly later. Both have pleaded their inability to do anything.

Buxear's Payment Link on its home page has been disconnected. A phishing attempt was made to read my cookies on 04 August, by a company called Sebux.com or something similar, as it was unsolicited. I disconnected my internet immediately and no further interference was noticed. I do not know if the two are interconnected.

I received a veiled threat on 05 August via a new link which suddenly appeared on clicking the Payment button. It said that their experts were looking into possible cheating by me by using a second false ID. They would then debar me and my money would stand forfeited.

I replied using their CONTACT US tab and clarified that it was my wife who was using the site, with her own e-mail ID, as permitted by Buxear vide their FAQs. This threat was withdrawn soon after. Though my membership has not been terminated, I get only two websites to read.

As an aside, the pleas of the Chinese in broken English are indicative of blatant and predetermined fraud.

All details of the company and individual are available in the Whois, at web page whois.domaintools.com/buxear.com

I request you to kindly look into the matter.
Yours truly,
Noel
