Complaint Review: Josefs Clock & Watch Shop (Ft. Lauderdale Fla.)

Horrible service. This is what happened:

I called them, and they said it's OK, they can repair my small table clocks.

I mail the clocks to them, with a letter and my tel # and e-mail.

They confirm getting them.

I don't hear from them for nearly 2 months, so I call them. They say the clocks are finished and that my tel. # doesn't work. LIE. My tel. and my answering machine work fine. They also had my e-mail and didn't use it. When I complained to them, they had the gall to say they were doing me a favor. No apology, and they demanded I pay return shipping, which I did. Their repairs were not cheap.

When I got my clocks back:

A flickering light in 2 of the clocks was not replaced. (This was easy to see.)

A gooey melting power plug was not replaced. (I mentioned this to them.)

Josef said he didn't work on my clocks. He gave them to his assistants. I suppose he is too "high and mighty" to work on my humble table clocks. I guess he only works on $500,000 grandfather clocks!

Give your clocks to someone else, not these people.
