I called Bug MD over a year ago and asked if it works and if I could spray a defensive Cockroach perimeter and they told me no.
It does work but you have to drown them with the contents of the spray bottle..
The Roaches eventually pass out and I find them in on their backs in my lanai & garage floor
Evidentally, It does work to some extent and the good part is it not poisonous
