Complaint Review: Joseph FrettaMD

  Oviously anyone who goes to these measures must be clearly hard to please and sometimes miracles run out in that bag of goodies, when someone goes for blood the expectations are to high and not anyone can reach them, and all seem to forget no one and nothing is perfect and there is always a claus that there could be complications in any surgery, my experience with Dr. FRETTE he is a no nonsense , honest, caring doctor , to the point , knowing my finances he has gone out of his way to work with me he is an amazing Doctor ,he is one of the few that has a real caring sole to do right by his patient and anyone should be honored that he takes the time to share his experience !!!

Firstly I would like to respond to the accusations that Dr. Fretta is only in the practice of medicine to make money. If a doctor's main objective was soley the pursuit of money then why would all of these other rebuttals on this page speak of how he has gone above and beyond his duties as a medical professional in order to help create a better quality of life for his patients? I have had the pleasure of knowing Dr. Fretta for over a decade, and have on multiple occasions seen him take time out of his busy day to see patients with no appointments who have come into his office with medical emergencies (the pure fact that these patients seek his help as opposed to going to a hospital speaks volumes in and of itself). As mentioned in other comments, Dr. Fretta takes the time to get to know each patient and their ailments so that he may give them the best quality of care he has to offer, and often times he has been available via his cell phone on weekends and late at night for me when i needed medical advice. In short, the doctor puts his patients well being above and beyond any other motive, especially money, and his actions serve as a testament to this.

Secondly, I would like to address the comment about Dr. Fretta injecting himself with fillers/PRP on his website. Any man who is willing to do treatment on himself is literally practicing what he preaches and must really believe his methods work. I have personally had PRP treatment done to my scalp (to restore/promote hair growth) and can attest to its affectiveness after a couple of treatments. (It is also pretty cool that he has a steady enough hand to inject himself without fliching, but I digress...)

This report is a slanderous attack on a good doctor and better man, with no merit or substance to it. Not once did I see any evidence for any of the claims that this person has made, they have only name dropped and spewed one sided hatred towards Dr. Fretta and his staff. I implore you to please meet Dr. Fretta and judge his character and professionalism for yourself, you will find yourself throughly surprised with your quality of care.

i have been a patient of dr fretta for the better part of 20 years .  he has been a caring proffesional dr and man. he always goes the extra mile for me and others that i know!  when my sons company closed in 2008 and he had no health insurance dr fretta treated him and did not charge him!!!  i had a heart problem and dr fretta worked with me till we found the right doctor to operate and fix the problem!   who ever is bad mouthing dr fretta cannot be a patient of his because there is no way  they could know him by personal experience!        dr fretta is wonderfull      thank you all

I am truly shocked and saddened to see anyone write such malicious things about Dr. Fretta, I have personally known the Doctor for at least 15 years and he is one of the most intelligent, generous, kind hearted, hard working, and greatest doctors I've had the pleasure of knowing.  He has helped COUNTLESS people with their health issues, and in many cases treated patients FOR FREE that were in desperate need of his care!

He has personally helped my 81 year old father walk again, after doctors told him he needed knee replacement, Dr. Fretta did injections over months that has made him walk up stairs again, TRULY AMAZING!!! Shame on whomever wrote this horrific nonsense about him, I truly believe what goes around, comes around, and this person will never find happiness in their lives. GOD BLESS DR. FRETTA!!!!

Dr. Fretta has been my doctor for more than 10 years. I came to him with a problem that neither another doctor, emergency room or pharmacist could diagnose. He took one look- diagnosed problem, treated it and relief was mine! He was my doctor from that moment on.

Among other issues I live with cronic pain- Dr Fretta, is able to control my pain and make it possible for me to enjoy my life. I am grateful to him.

He is a caring. compassionate man, with an amazing bedside manner, and a gifted diagnostician. he takes his time, is patient and thoroughly explains everything to you in terms that are easily comprehendable.

His office staff is warm, accommodating and extremely professional. They will make every accommodation to make sure that you are seen immediately.

My only regret is that there are no more doctors like Dr.Fretta!

I have no idea what motivated this person to say the cruel and hurtfull things that he/she said but it is not fair that Dr. Fretta is being crucified in the way that he has been.   The almighty created us and we are flawed so guess what everything man makes is and will continue to be flawed.

You might be upset because you did not get the result you expected but that does not mean that he is a fraud, it just mean that this medicine is not the right one for you. If the medicine used helped or cured 95% of the people who used it does it mean that the medicine or the dr. is no good?   Or maybe there is another explanation.   It just mean that our bodies are different and this 5% needs a higher dosage or a twist in the same medicine or a totally different medicine  than the 95%. Labeling the Dr. a liar, and a fraud because you did not follow his guidelines or because you did not give yourself time to heal is not fair to the doctor and his family, his workers, and his patients.  Your ill will and vendeda is aiming at distroying the good name and relationships that he and his employees have built.

Dr. Fretta is a good man and a great doctor and I will continue to admire him and be his patient as long as I need him. He and his workers are friendly and professional and what is going on now is sad but life is what it is and all we can do is pray that this person will be found out for the lies and deceit that he/she is spreading.  It is hard to find a doctor out there who cares about his patients, one who would look beyound how much profit he can make and see the needs and struggles of his patients.  Dr. Fretta is that man, a kind, caring, professional, funny, gentle soul. 

I love you and your staff and don't worry God will take care of this evil, vile and distructive person.   

Dr.Fretta has been my doctor for many years. In all my experiences Dr.Fretta has gone above and beyond as his duty as my Physican. He is known for frequently and kindly taking time out of his busy schedule to attend to my needs and anwsering any questions that I may have. He has shown this same attentive treatment to many people in the community who I have  heard once complain about their treatment. He makes sure that you feel comfortable and safe and will perform his duties with great competince and compassion. And in my experience with dealing with many doctors for various medical conditions. Dr. Fretta stands above them all for all the reasons I have stated above.

I have known Dr. Fretta for more than 30 years  He has treated my entire family, was especially kind and caring to my Dad when he had serious health issues.  He is always, available, I have even called him early on a Saturday morning, what other Dr. answers his phone?  He has treated me for my viens and general health issues.  He is beyond honest and trustworthy and he is a great diagnostician.  He always puts his patient's needs first.  I have recommend him to my friends and family and fell completely comfortable doing so.  He is the best!!!

I have known Dr. Fretta for many years. He has a wide breath of knowledge in the medical field- not limited to Internal Medicine, vein treatment and removal, vitamin supplementation, etc. In addition, he is kind and caring. I have interacted with many physicians and it is rare to see one with that has such concern for the welfare of his patients. 

Whoever posted this defamatory comment has an anger within themself for some reason. 

 My family and I have been seeing Dr. Fretta as our internist for many years. He is reliable, thorough and completely trustworthy. For us, his most admirable trait is that he thinks outside the box, offering an educated, intelligent and insightful perspective. Dr. Fretta also has a thorough knowledge of vitamin supplementation, which I find provides an added dimension to that which other common internists offer. If your needs involve nothing more than a once a year physical and being told to drink plenty of fluids for your annual cold, internists like that are a dime a dozen. However, for those like myself who have more complicated issues, or those who figure eventually they may need something more from their internist, Dr. Fretta has no equal. Finally, when my senior citizen mother-in-law came home from a Hospital stay with a problem she had not previously had, without our asking him to do so, Dr. Fretta made a house-call to see her.

I have been a patient  of Dr Fretta for many years! He is the best Dr I've ever been to and his knowledge and honesty is above any other I've seen and I have a multitude of injuries and pain! For example I've had epidural injections in meadowlands hospital and another dr charged $99,000 dollars for 2 epidural injections!, the dr told me I can get the injections screaming or under general anesthesia .Dr Fretta did the same injections for around $250 at the time in his office with no anesthesia and he didn't hurt me at all,he is the best Dr with a needle that I've EVER been too! Currently I'm seeing him for PRP therapy which is taking your own blood and injecting only the  purest proteins back into the injured area to promote healing! The dr's who want to do knee replacements and spinal fusions on me are the money sucking leaches that you have to worry about! Dr Fretta has helped me with my pain using the latest techniques  and the lowest cost! all I can say is this report against Dr Fretta is absolute lies and sounds like some kind of vendetta against Dr Fretta! If you ask any of his patients I'm sure they will echo what I just wrote! I will continue to see Dr Fretta for therapy and I have to take 2 planes from south Texas to be treated by him but he is that good!

 Dr. Fretta has been my physician for over 30 years.  He is honest, talented and one of the most dedicated doctors anyone could ever ask for.  He is focused on his patients and driven to keep them healthy.  He is a superb doctor who actually cares about his patients and is always available to them.  Any suggestion to the contrary is simply absurd.  WE should have more doctors like Joe Fretta.  VAC

I am a long time patient of Dr Fretta and to see someone go out of their way to bash this man is sad Dr Fretta has always been honest and would never do anything harmfull to anyone in anyway this man has helped my family and I stay healthy all my life and anyone that I have ever sent to him have had only great things to say. A business man myself I know how important it is to keep a great reputation but you can never make everyone happy so I recommend that you judge him yourself and disregard any negative comments from people that have nothing better to do with there time. This Dr is one of the best in his trade the best in vien removal and is honest as can be so for this person that put this negative comment out to harm Dr Fretta you are probably one of those freeloading people that want everything for free and try to extort this poor man get a life and stop hating on the successful people out there and go get a life.If anyone is gonna really believe this person that went out of her way to slander Dr Fretta i am putting my name behind him and all I have to say is you pay for what you get if you want great work and honest prices give him a chance for your self and you will not be disappointed
