Total fraud and moron, worst ever. Don't ever, ever use. Negative 5 stars. Note he has an address in Folcroft, but I do not think he is still using his Junper St Philadelphia address. Either way it is the same guy and name- stay away. I would not have posted it here (I probably should have anyway) but I cannot not write a full review on yelp or google, it is too long and also my review keeps disappearing for some reason, it wouldn't if it was positive. So I know it will have a home here.

The story begins last year, I had a guy working for me in the house accidently broke the main water valve, which wasn't hard to do because it was 50 years old a rusted.  I had the water dept come out and shut off the curbstop valve so the flooding would stop.I needed a plumber to replace the valve and turn the water back on. I never had to call one before, and did not know one. I found a million, but saw one a couple of blocks over on 1300 Juniper Street, this fraud Joseph Giannone, who I called because he was literally almost a stone's throw away, I figured it would be convenient. Boy, I could not know. I called about 9:30 a.m. ish and explained the job to female secretary. She said right now we have a heating crew on 2nd  street, and they will be there all day, and Joe is also not available, he is on a job, but I can pass this along to him. I said okay, should I expect a call or not, she said yes, he will call you within 10 minutes, I said okay and the call ended.

Even though I knew they just said they couldn't do it, I did not call any other plumber, I waited for his call, because again of the close proximity. At about 20 minutes, I see a private number- it was this jerkoff, he said he doesn't give out his personal number. I explained the job to him. He repeated that their crew is going to be busy on 2nd street, and also he has a job to do with this lady in Northeast. He half-effortly claimed it might be possible later to do the job, he would check- but it that didn't match up with everything he just said. He said he would call me back in 20 minutes. Believe or not, I still didn't call anybody.

I waited until 29 minutes, which was 9 mins over the limit, then I dialed another plumber, about a minute in, I see a private number calling in, him. That plumber says he can stop by in about 60-90 minutes to look at it and give me a quote. I get done with him but cannot call this fraud. About 10 minutes later this fraud calls, private number, and says hey I'm right down the street. I said you just told me you were in the NE and your crew is busy at 2nd, now your saying your right down the street. He declared bossy and demanding, well I'm here now (didn't explain how), I can take a look at the job. I told him I called another place and they were coming to take a look but if he wants he can come and give me a quote.

He came in, and I didn't like the site of him instantly. The face he had on, his whole aura. That isn't what lead me to write this though, but it is a fact. He went down in the basement, took a look at it, said that the part to the valve, which was a 1/2 inch to 3/4 small valve pipe "was really hard to find" and "very rare", that he would have to check with a specific supply shop in the northeast. He gave me a 375 quote for the simple job. I did not the accuracy of anything he claimed, including if that was a good price or if the part was rare. I thought it was high though. At that point I said the other guy is coming,I had called him before you got back to me, give me an hour and I will call your office and let you know, he left. The other guy was running a little late, he was in the N.E. finishing up a job, he did give me a call and said that the had an emergency with a break in a sewer line, that they could prob get to me tom.

At that point I had no running water, hadn't brushed my teeth or anything. So I figured I'd give this fraud a call, at about 12:45 p.m. that day I did, I got the female sec., and said  he they can do the job now. She said she thinks Joe is not available went to another job. I said okay, get back to me the job is available. She said he will call you in 25 minutes. Never called. I called back and got another female, who claimed just to be answering the phone in her car, not in the office, didn't know anything said she would take a message down. I was angry at this point. No call back. I called again about an hour later, a third time, and spoke to the the first female, who claimed she didn't know why he didn't call me back said she will let him know.

About 25-40 minutes later around 4 p.m ish, I got a call from this fraud. He said oh, you turned down the job I went somewhere else, to which I stated the above real facts, and also inquired why I had to call 3 times and go out of my way to get a response. He of course didn't have an answer for that, but he said he was at the plumbing supply store, the one 5 blocks from my house picking up some stuff, but that he was not being waited on. He told me he was going to go to the shop in the n.e.to get this very rare part and do the job first thing tom morning, for that 375 quote. I was looking to get this done, it was another day without water, brushing teeth, etc, so I agreed.

The next morning, at about 9 a.m., I get a call from the female "confirming" if I was there, and the appt. This fraud arrives about 20 minutes later- with a look and attitude from when I answer the door. He takes his tools bag in the basement and starts to plug in a light. He is down there about a minute or 2, when I simply ask how much the fitting ran him. He immed. got defensive and bent out of shape. He said I don't remember, I got it last night and "put it on charge" (who the hell has charge cards now). I asked him, I just was curious, you don't remember? "No I don't", he said with a attitude. I said Joe, relax, I agreed to pay you 375 for the job, and I'll keep my word, whether it costs you 10 cents or 110 bucks, I just was curious how much it ran you.  At that point he began putting the light back in his bag and said "I don't feel comfortable". In disbelief, I said what? He repeated it. I said you got to be kidding me man. Then I said I'll hire a real plumber and walked upstairs. He packed up his stuff and left.

The guy is a  total fraud and a moron. The part, which was the above fitting was at the supply store that was 5 blocks away, for 5.65. First I called that N.E. store, they don't carry supplies like that at all, then I called there, where he was at the day before. That's why when I spoke him, he told me there was bad service there and he was going to the on in the NE. In reality he bought it there (if he didn't already have it) for less than 6 bucks. "expensive", and "rare" yeah, in this fraud's world. I called another company they came right over, they HAD THE PART ALREADY IN THEIR TRUCK. Later on, in the past 18 months or so I checked with different plumbers that came over, they all either have the part in their truck or know it isn't rare. When I told them that, they laughed and said it isn't rare at all, nor expensive as I knew. The second plumbers did the same job for 250, with no problems. I found a beter company then them now, Reliable, they have done other stuff, they would have charged me less than 200 for that job. 375-  What he did amounts to robbery or at least attempted in this case.

I would never, never, use this total fraud  for anything. And you read this and still hire him, I hope you get ripped off, you deserve it. You should never even think about calling this lowlife.  He has  victims that just don't know it. Don't be that stupid. I have used a company called Reliable, they are great and cheap. They are the best around that I have found. I. Professional, cheap, effective. Bottom line, who ever you go with, just stay away from this fraud, you'll be happy you did.

first off, I was looking up this company cause I know they def ripoff their employees but actually now after reading your ignorant review I will defend them and all contractors. What business is it of yours how much they pay for a part? Are you their accountant.

contractors sell service not parts. If you want a plumbing part, go to plumbing school for 5 years, commit your life to plumbing and get a license. I don't ask labcorp how much the gauze costs. You throw around every slur because " they called in 29 minutes, not 20. Sorry your 50 plus year old valve went bad and you want water now. They did their best to accomodate you and now you trash them. There should be a site for bad customers and unreasonable people cause you would be at the top of the list. Just cause you have a couple bucks to spend to have a "servant" for a day doesn't make your rant gospel. Do you really think $375 is enough to make a professional tradesman your slave. Do it yourself. Do you know that there are people who probably paid 375- 30 years ago to repair their aging valve before it broke. Maybe if you maintained your plumbing before disaster struck, you would not have had such an urgent situation. I cringe before I even get to people like yours houses. 50 year old valve? 1965 that valve was installed and you are counting minutes.... Think about it. Stop being an idiot. I'm sure your contributions to this world are much more significant than plumbers but can you please show some pity on us skilled, educated, experienced tradesman folk. Ps: Seek god because your soul is lost
