ServPro has provided me services from 1/6/2016 to 1/72016. Upon receiving the invoice, I noticed that they have issued me several undisclosed and invalid charges. These were driving time, emergency charge, labor hours charge (after I've told them to stop working), and labor for removal of equipment on property (1/8/2016).
 
I have expressed my concerns to them. They have address the first two charges mentioned above. However, since they have address the two invalid charges, they claim that they have given enough discount and will not address the other invalid charges.
 
I have never had a service provider charge me for removal of equipment off a property.  Even if this is the case, the labor hours that Servpro reported for removing the equipment were extremely inflated. After hiring Servpro for the term of 1/6/2016 till 1/7/2016, I rented the same type and number of equipment to dry the walls. Remarkably, this only took me a total of 1 hour to remove the same amount of equipment by myself. In addition, since they are experts, they should be able to remove the equipment off the property faster than a novice.
 
To my surprise, they charged me 4 hours of removing the exact same equipment. In addition, Servpro charged me for labor hours that I never consented to. I asked their staff to stop working, and they decided to continue working while ignoring my commands.  
 
I've expressed my concerns to the owner, named Charlie, and he was not able to resolve the issue appropriately. His response was that he honored me multiple discounts on decontaminating the equipment, and speaking to the insurance. Because of that, he could not dismiss the other 2 invalid charges. The "discounts" that Charlie claims, were frankly never disclosed to me from the beginning. Charlie is retaliating by threatening to add additional undisclosed charges if he does address all 4 invalid charges.
 
Again, I have never been charged by service people to have their equipment cleaned and removed.
 
Their firm is accustomed to charging insurance companies. Perhaps insurance companies are lax about scrutinizing the bills. However, as an individual, these charges are absolutely outrageous and unacceptable!
