I had a very bad experience with JOVAP INVESTMENT company. This is really bad because I just learned to start investing in GOLD.

I placed an order with JOVAP in June 2006 and paid by check. After a long wait, I sent them several emails and got one response that informed my order was shipped. I waited for a long time sending out several emails and finally they told me that their inventory shipment was delayed and I can cancel my order for a full refund. I did send them an email to cancel the order requesting a refund and never heard from them again. Is this a big lie from a company to its customers? I just experienced this the first time.

Their phone number is always an answering machine and no body return calls if message is left.

I can still log into my account at JOVAP and always see the status as "payment received". I paid JOVAP a check of $1161.16 for 2 ounces of gold and cashed by JOVAP around 6/19/2006.

This is the first time I bought GOLD from this company because they offered very good deal with personal check payment. If I paid them by VISA, I would let the VISA company deal with this scam. Now I am not sure what could be the simplest way to make them pay me the refund, and I am tired of sending emails to nowhere.

I also found another Rip-off report on this JOVAP company and believe that we should inform all other consumers and investers to avoid doing business with this investment company (www.jovap.com).
