Complaint Review: Jp Chase Mortgage

JP Chase Mortgage, which holds our account, tried to pull off a scam on us. We pay online on time every month. They claimed that our May payment was reversed by Bank of America because our account was closed. This was an absolute lie. I called Chase and spoke to Sheila who assured me a manager would be on the phone shortly. After eight minutes, the phone was picked up and hung up on me. I called back and spoke to Julio who kept me on the phone for ten minutes while he tried to find a manager. Meanwhile, I did a conference call with Bank of America, and got a manager immediately. She listened, while Julio then came back on, who said his manager said to take off the late fee, and he gave us a confirmation number to reverse our bad credit report that they sent in. Back of America was wonderful in dealing with this potential scam. She waited patiently for twenty minutes while this Julio had to take the heat for somebody trying to rip us off. After I calmed down somewhat, I told Julio that it wasn't a personal attack on him, but if this is how the corporate office is doing "business", he should seriously consider looking for another job. We are furious, disappointed and will tell as many people as possible what happened to us.
