This guy asked at the outset whether his call could be recorded, i.e. was I at work with a recording system.  Said he got my resume hand delivered from one of my contacts from a job I didn't get.  Says he has jobs paying 400k to 2M, that his client do pre-interviews but have social screenings at polo matches and golf rounds; wants 15% of salary, although he never answered when I asked if I had to accept the job or if it was 15% once or in perpetuity.  When I asked questions he would say "look you must not be very smart if you need to ask me questions and I'm the one with the jobs". 

He also talked about doing deep background checks - do not give him your SS # under ANY circumstance.  Web site has addresses in NYC that does not exist as I know NYC pretty well.  Also a San Diego address I could not locate.  Asked if I had a pilots license as he said employers for his jobs used that as a guide, also execujet ownership vs flying commercial.  Tries to make you feel inferior but that he can bring you to his level. 

He ended up cursing up a storm at the end when I said I did not think this was for me after he evaded most of my questions for 30 minutes.  Eventually said I was going on the "Intelesis" report where I would be shown as ineligible for big salary jobs.  Then bothers to call me back to tell me, again, I was on the "Intelesis" job ineligible report and here's my case # and his agent #.  Only Intelesis I found is a UK telcon.  Again, I must be stupid iin his world because I,who have hired and fired people for Fortune 200 companies, has never used an Intesis report because I have never hired someone making a 2M salary.  When I reversed called him he answered sweetly without identifying himself.

Then he sent the three following text messages: 1) Your access to ANY companies mention (sic) in our mailing / contact / email, has been REVOKED.  No job offers will be possible with any companies we do business with.  2) Consider yourself "BARRED"-- from employment - WorldWideEmplymy Svcs & their 2128 (not 2129 or 2138??) subsidiaries / partners. "NA ME BLOCK" on Future Opportunities, 3) Notice to (my cell #) ***SYSTEMALERT*** THE SUBSCRIBER (630) 297-7760 HAS <REQUESTED> A NETWORK <BLOCK> OF ALL  FURTHER DATA FROM YOUR NUMBER CARRIER**.  Wow! 

I've been approached by numerous outplacement / /image consultants / professional employment marketers while out and I accept a certain "fear" / opportunity cost approach with more persistence / desperation on there part than is warranted if they were offering something I need.  But this guy deserves to be memorialized. 

Never got to his 4k, 1.5k pitch like the prior victim as I have an actual interview tomorrow to prepare for.  I am annoyed I spent close to 90 minutes total on this but wanted to put it down while it is still fresh in my mind.

I am also going to use this report as the basis of my report to the Illinois AG offices if only to save some other person in transition from the grief and possible rip off.

Received a call from the director of customer service at CIBT who apologized that my case had not been handled properly and refunded the charges.  I guess we are square now except for the aggravation getting here. But he was nice about it.

Also, I NEVER CALLED HIM ONCE. He called me four times and I rejected his advances, fraud, abuse. But you be the judge if you get stuck dealing with him.
