I have been trying to get ahold of the owner Jim Carlo since March of 2018 to have needed extended warranty repairs done on my vehicle. He avoided me until I finally went to another mechanic to have them diagnosis my car. The mechanic asked me if I would bring him my contract and I did so. The mechanic contacted JR Motors and told them that the work was covered under my warranty and asked if he could preform the work since my contract says another mechanic can do the work if approved. JR Motors told him no, that the work had to be done there. So I brought my car there on the 12th of September 2018. After a week, I called them to see the progress on my car. I was directed to Jim Carlo the owner who said that he was not going to cover the expenses. He also told me I was rude and obnoxious and he was going to repo my car. When I asked him why he said because I missed a payment in December 2017. While that is true, the missed payment was due to a respiratory infection that caused me to miss 1 week of work. When this occured, I called JR Motors and told them, "I can't make my car payment, come get my car!" They told me they didn't want my car for 1 missed payment and to continue making payments as usual and not to miss any more. My payments are $260.50 a month and the payment I missed was for $130.25 on December 22, 2017. I have not missed a payment since yet they are keeping my car. Jim Carlo has used this very car to do the same thing to the customer that had bought it prior to me. He is a scam artist. I went with the police to try and get my car back and JR Motors tried to give the police officer a "Repo Letter" the officer said as far as he is concerned the "Repo Letter" is bogus and it was an unlawful repossession. I have contacted the AZ. Attorney general, the federal Trade Commission, the BBB, Yelp and every other consumer protection website I can find! Do not do business with this guy, He is a scam for sure.
