I was contacted by Michael Mell who represented himself as a Consultant, looking for job applicants for a Benefit Representative for $60,000 a year.  He said he was working through Oldham and Associates, which is an actual local company.   He communicated with me about a time and place for an interview, and I agreed to it.

The location was a very generic looking building without any names on the front.  I began to wonder what was going on when I saw so many people arriving at the same time, there was no parking.  When I asked the receptionist if it was indeed Oldham and Associates, she simply said, "You are in the right place, don't worry. "  I don't think this scam had anything to do with Oldham and Associates, because the company involved was American Income Life.  They were mass interviewing to try to get agents to sell their insurance.

If you have to lie to people to get them to work with you, I think that sums up what kind of company they are!
