Complaint Review: JSMConsulting of USA

JSMConsulting of USA sent a scam email about a job offer as Benefits Representative. They said they read my resume but I don't even qualify for the job so I knew something was fishy. Others have also reported about this scam on Ripoff Madison, WI Internet

In March of 2015, JSM consulting offered me an interview to get a job in Indianapolis as a Benefits Representative with a starting salary of 60,000. I knew right away that something was fishy because I didn't even qualify for such a job. Then I providentially found on Ripoff that several other people have also been scammed with the same sort of email. i'm glad I didn't follow through with it. Some things about them just aren't right. First their internet website isn't the same name as the company name. Second of all, all good employment service have at least job postings on their website. Thirdly, they don't have an official website page, and the "All Rights Reserved" in the bottom corner is totally fake. And lastly, they don't provide an address for a central office. Also what I consider bad grammar in "a couple small businesses" and in the terrible run-on sentences "Also, just so you know......" and "no worries, I work....". Whoever wrote this email probably never went to college or droped out.

Here is the email I received:

hope you are doing well! I am emailing you regarding the resume you posted online.  I am currently consulting for a couple small businesses and assisting with several business developments in Indianapolis, IN. After reviewing your resume, I think you would be a good fit for one of the several positions currently available. The primary position currently available is for a full time Benefits Representative, the average starting wage is around $60,000 a year.  I am in the office Monday and was wondering if I could contact you for a five minute phone interview between 1:00-2:00pm? Or is there a better time to call you at xxx xxx xxxx?

Also, just so you know, there are no fees for you to use my service, assisting small businesses in finding qualified top-notch employees is included with my consulting fees which are covered by the business. If you find that these positions are not the right fit for you, no worries, I work with a number of other businesses and I may have another client that is hiring in the near future. Are you only looking for work in the xxxxx area? Would you consider other areas?

I look forward to speaking to you!
