Complaint Review: JSTAR ADVERTISING INC

I worked for this company for about 6 months. I was sold on the concept; my boyfriend does for a more reputable company, with full benefits, and morals, and he makes six figures a year. It is not a scam if you are good at it; a lot of people just cant stomach the hard work, foot swelling, and out of pocket costs. But, heres my case.

I am writing this report because I was totally ripped off. Im a hard worker, I learn fast, and I am an excellent seller. I was told not to finish college; therefore I took a semester off, to give it a shot, why not my boyfriend can do it; Right? So I gave it a try, I loved it and would probably still be doing.BUT.theres more.

In the business you are required to drive your interviews around, and Im not going to lie, it is a very cut and dry business.you work hard for a dream, we are in America!? Anyway, like any other business you step on people, hire/fire people, I have no problem doing this to promote myself..if you do.then flip some burgers, you will never make it in marketing anywhere. So, the tragedy begins.

I put about 10,000 miles on my car, which is not the worst part, I was driving an interview around on September 14, 2007, when I was struck by another car, totaling mine, injuring the most wonder women, and myself very, very badly. We were taken by ambulance to the hospital (nothing was covered, like I was told it would bevery disappointing), and within a week Johnny shut down the whole IPC company; JStar, and it was like it never existed. I was forced to pay all of the costs, and for the fifty year old woman in my car, God help her, I pray daily for her. I fed her all of this crap, like Johnny and Cydcor will cover it. Not to lie to her, but because thats what I was told. NOPE, I was fed a line of crap. I had to hire a lawyer to take care of my hospital billswho in turn took advantage of me, by taking the settlement money and not paying anything, but thats another story.

As the plot thickens, in January, when it was time to file taxes, I never received my W2.? Hum, again very disappointing. In the interview I was told we would be able to write off our gas, food, and other expenses..not true, ask my tax lady.anyway how do you write off a totaled car? All in all I made a ton of money doing this, but it cost me my integrity, morals, and about a total of 30, 000 dollars in hospital bills, time, and a near broken back in two places, Its a good thing I am responsible and keep all of my receipts. Therefore, I am writing this report, asking for help or advise/help, anything at this point; and hoping that this travesty will not happen to anyone else. Good luck and God bless.
