JT Card Services are a Big Scam
JT Card Services contacted me around the end of October and money was then taken from my account on Nov. 1 for a credit card that had no interest, but had a one-time fee of $175 for the life of the card. I was suspicious and ask how it was possible and they just said the up front money covers the interest.
They told me I could cancel whenever if I changed my mind and get they money back. That seemed fine till I got the paper work that said they would be taking out 15 dollars out of my account every month.
hey also sent a free gas certificate card, but I would have to mail the receipt to get my money and it has to get there by a certain day and on and on. In other words I was never going to see the free $100 of free gas either. I then knew something was wrong because when I was on the phone with them I ask if that was the only time they could get in my checking account and they said yes. After being lied to, I called to cancel and they said ok your account will be credited in 72 hours. It was not.
Then they said it would take until Jan. 15. I waited and nothing happened. I then talked to the credit union where I have my checking account and they said there is nothing they can do because it has been to long. I learned never to accept anything over the phone.
I have now read other people's stories about JT Card Services and they seem similar to mine and I realize I will never see my money again. Now I have to worry about them getting into my account again because they have my information. I have called and their number is busy and when it was not they had a recorder saying your cards are on their way. I called again later and heard a recording about faxes.
That is probably there next scam. I can not believe there are people that can do that and sleep at night. I hope everyone who has anything to do with JT Card services scam feels so much guilty it eats them up. They must remember what comes around goes around.
If anyone has had this happen to them in the past 60 days contact your bank and maybe they can track them down.
