John Thomas pretends to be a major player in the entertainment industry. He talks a good game but only offers no-pay background or no-pay speaking parts in a short film with no budget at all. He outright lies, telling you that he's just been hired to cast a new SAG film but he's signed an NDA (non-disclosure-agreement) and can't talk about it, then tells you details are coming soon! He stated this NDA thing over 2 dozen times in 2015 but never seems to actually make a movie.
He overly exaggerates everything, for example speaking of a major TV network series he's casting, but if you research it, the major network is Larchmont Community Access and the show is a no-budget, no-pay, white wall, made up as your go “series”. He’s constantly promoting his new SAG project but if you contact SAG, JT Talent is not a SAG franchised agent, casting director, manager, and has no affiliation with SAG.
He suckers in foreigners, attractive women, and rookies in the film industry. He pushes his expensive “package” on you, getting you to pay for new headshots, which are photographed in his friend Robert’s apartment and all this guy Robert tries to do is get you to show your breasts.
JT never delivers on his promise for you to meet a casting director, (part of the package) instead he’ll invite you to a bar, say, “this is Bob, he’s casting a new film”, then Bob shakes your hand, says hello and walks away. JT stresses that you just had a meeting with a casting director, seriously I am not making this up!
JT never makes you an actor’s website or gets you a professional reel, both are part of the package.
He constantly takes credit for work you get yourself, whispering to friends that, “oh I got her that part” … as if that’s not going to be back to me, pathetic.
He has added his own credits on IMDB, often becomes a “casting associate” on an ultra-low indie film but only casts non-speaking, no pay background work then claims he’s cast 200 films. None of theses “films” have ever seen the light of day. He always promises you a “chance for a line” which never happens.
He’s the only “agent, manager, casting director” or, whatever role he claims to be this week, who constantly signs an NDA and can’t talk about his new project but it’s a major Television network and a SAG film.
If you tell him your met someone on set, say for example Pamela Anderson, he will immediately say, “oh, I know Pam, she’s a good friend of mine” this is constant! Everyone in the industry is a good friend of his.
This guy lives in his office, has no money, last year actually said that his doctor recommended he go on a vacation so he asked his clients to chip in so he could go away for a week.
This guy has no connections, no work (unless you want to work for free) and just lies through his teeth constantly. Stay away from him!

Frist let me start off by saying im sorry you feel that way.I have been in business for a very long time and about 3 years ago added some partners.Running a business is tough and in the entertainment world harder.we all make mistakes and because of the stroke yes sometimes i do get things confused its normal after a stroke.Right now i only have a few clients about 40 or so.I,m doing much more casting and producing.as far as lo budget films i think you better look at my imdb i have over 150 films tv shows on there more added everyday by directors.Every credit there i earned working very hard.As far as the package were not doing that i have new partners new rules.So again im sorry i upset you and you think that way but you can always contact me and get this resolved i'm will to hear you out.No one says you need to work with me but please remove this post as its not fair that i'm no able to say my side of the story.So lets please be a man or a woman and take this down and let meknow whst you problem with me is and ill nswer any question you have.Enjoy your day stay positive.

To who this may concern.I don't know who wrote this but this is no way to treat someone.I have been working in this business for over 16 years.i always tried to do the right thing.first i don't add myself to imdb i worked on all those films.For over 2 years i have been battling a stroke I'm better but I'm trying to get my health back.And as for the promising the directors tell me whats going on and i tell actors some include NDa.I can' control what goes on or when i introduce people what happens.I have helped so many people in the industry and if you look on my imdb page i have over 125 films tv so on.Look if at one time i represented you then you know I'm a nice guy and that i try hard.Im sorry if things did not work out I'm no big wig in the industry just someone trying to make it.Maybe we got off on the wrong foot I'm doing great now if you look on imdb.Now things maynot always go they way we want it to but we have to look into our hearts and help one another.Im a casting director as well as other things still trying to make it.again im sorry for the confusion for any reason but im asking very nicely to please take this down.You how to reach me im doing some big stuff now if you look at my imdb no hars feelings i will forget all abour this.My doctors told me i can't be under any stress or i could have another stroke.The reason it took me so long to write this is my health i'm in bad shape.So asking if you can please take the down and if you want to contact me there will be no hard fellings and we can start over.It's the holidays it it we meen the worls do me to get this removed.If i put up a rip off report every time i got screwwd or had a misuunderstanding there world be hundrededs.Going the hospital 2 times a week is not fun.Have a safe happy holliday God Bless.

What this person says is all true. He lied exactly the same way to me for several months. Thankfully, I did not give him a dime!!! I got no auditions or work from him during the time he was my manager. I fired him, removed his name from my casting profiles, and avoid being seen near him. I am back on track now with my career, but DID waste several months and lost the respect of some people by being associated with him. He comes off as a nice guy, but is NOT respected by anyone in the industry other than those doing no budget non-union films on their iphones.
