I bought a gold plated emerald and diamond accent bracelet many years ago knowing the emeralds wouldn't be of great quality but they definitely weren't the quality shown on tv or on their website. I have looked several times in different lighting and have found only one diamond accent in the whole bracelet. I wore the bracelet a total of five times using a jewelry cloth to wipe down the bracelet three of those times and an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner that only uses water to clean it twice. I let the bracelet air dry after I wiped it dry with another jewelry cloth then wiped it down before putting it in a good bracelet case not the cardboard one it came in. I'd check it from time to time had to reclean the bracelet as it had tarnished. I take care of my jewelry I don't use cleaners on stones that are not supposed to be cleaned by them. I worked for a jeweler for many years until he passed away and store had to be closed. He was a graduate gemologist taught me how to identify gemstones synthetics included he also taught me how to use the equipment to identify gemstones as well as how to care for them. I have several reference books one of which tells you how to care for set or loose stones. There was no reason that bracelet should have tarnished. I bought a sapphire and diamond accent bracelet from them again stones looked nothing like ones shown on tv or website found two diamond chips they call a diamond accent piece it hasn't tarnished and it was gold plated, both 18k over SS. I'm sorry but one or two diamond chips isn't diamond accented. I also bought several gemstone parcels the A-Z mix which weren't supposed to have any lab created or synthetic stones in them I'm sorry but strontium titinate is a synthetic stone I got one in a parcel many of the stones were very included none of them were in parcel shown on tv some were chipped etc. I would get parcels that looked like the only stones in the A-Z mix were garner, citrine, amethyst, blue and white topaz. I finally got smart and sent them back would order another parcel once went thru got the same crap so just quit buying them. I did buy a jewellers bench parcel that had nice quality stones but all were a lot smaller than they said they would be. I did get the money back on the so called natural untreated andesine/ labordorite supposedly from the Himalaya mountains a mine they had visited so they said. I only got the cost of the stone they should have refunded the shipping as well as they lied to us they never went to the mine in the Himalayas there's never been one there as far as I know kyanite is the only gemstone mined in those mountains. With that being said I don't believe they were hoodwinked they said they'd been to the mine. That was the last straw haven't bought anything since. Isn't that fraud and where was the FCC it's such a shame tv jewelry channels can get away with that. I've bought gemstones from other jewelry tv channels got exactly what was shown on tv and very happy with those purchases. I now buy from a few very trustworthy sellers on eBay get excellent quality stones at half or more cheaper than stones sold on the jewelry tv shows especially jtv which is supposed to be the biggest jewelry and gemstone buyers on tv. You can buy top quality diamonds of any color from very trustworthy sellers on eBay a LOT cheaper than from jtv sure is funny they tell you you can't find better prices plus you get a cert from top gem labs.
