Complaint Review: Jubilee Financial Services/ Heritage

This company lulled me into a sense of security making me believe that they would do exactly as they said and contact my creditors and let them know I was in a payment program. This was never done, and I was unable to contact anyone by phone after I started having money taken out of my checking account.

I then sent a certified letter to them and still no response. I contacted the BBB and had no luck there. Finally I contacted the Iowa Attorney General's office who let me know that I was on my own because the company is not required to be registered being in California. Stay away from these scam artists! They took me for several thousand dollars that could have gone to my creditors.
