Judd Steele, Judd Blount, Judd Steele hired to drum, RUINS PARTY LA, California
Hello I HAVE QUITE A COMPLAINT to make about a certain local drummer. My name is Martin but people just call me The Chief. I run a night club outside the LA area and about two weeks ago I hired a local drummer named Judd Blount, stage name Judd Steele. I saw an ad he had on his website, JuddSteele.indiegroup.com, and decided he was qualified since it said he had drummed with Blue Oyster Cult and Quiet Riot just to name a few bands. He looked a little young to have drummed for Blue Oyster Cult but I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. BIG MISTAKE!
Judd was hired to drum, replacing a band member of some people I had already hired. Their old drummer decided to part ways with the band and I didnt want to lose my investment. These guys were hired as entertainment for my sons 21st birthday party which was to be held last night, Friday October 30th and was to last til early Halloween morning. Judd needed to practice with the band so I arranged for them to set up on stage and practice when the club was closed a week in advance.
The group was scheduled to meet on Wednesday October 21st and I showed up to watch them practice. To my surprise they were missing their drummer. An hour later he just eventually showed up.. DRUNK! It was only 7 oclock in the evening on a Wednesday. I was livid! I stepped outside and his dune buggy was parked halfway up the curb. I ran back into the club and grabbed him by his stupid leather vest and through him outside. He collapsed on the ground and started sobbing and weeping, crying about how his wife had kicked him out of the house. I told him EITHER CLEAN UP YOUR ACT OR DONT COME BACK HERE! He ended up attending practice on time and sober leading up to the event but it all fell apart!
I had spent thousands of dollars on this event. All of my sons friends were going to be there as well as my close family. It was open to the public as well, being our Halloween party. Judd showed up wearing a giant bunny rabbit costume which I thought was quite a bit weird. I guess everybody is entitled to be what they want for Halloween though. He started acting out, running around the room yelling, Im the RABBITT DUUUUDE!!! as loud as he could. At first everyone found it funny, but after about five minutes people started to get sick of it but Judd wouldnt stop. RABBIITTTT DUDEE!!!, he kept yelling. You could tell he was drunk as a skunk.
I had to take some action so I confronted him and told him to settle down or hed have to leave. He responded with profanity saying that it was HIS party. He walked away from me and went up to my son and said Hey dude, happy birthday, wanna drink?! My son said sure, so Judd went and got him one. When he came back Judd said that my son could only have the drink if he would touch Judd in the naughty place. I had heard enough! I ran up to Judd and grabbed him my his neck and pulled him through the club and out through the back door. I threw him to the ground and told him to get the **** outta here! He got back up and took a shot at me, I ducked, punched him in the gut and then reached back and nailed him in the face with all I had. He hit the floor hard. When he finally came to he started spouting off again about how he had no money and his wife was gonna leave him PATHETIC! I said, You had a chance to make some money here but you blew it! and kicked him right in the stomach. That was the last I heard of Judd Blount for the night.
Because of Judd, the nights entertainment was ruined and I lost a lot of money. Ive been so angry these past 24 hours that I decided to look this guy up, something I should have done a long time ago. Thats how I found this website, turns out there are at least 10-20 other reports filed against him on here. Everything from running a home based scam operation, internet hazing, all the way to being an online predator on myspace. That kind makes sense now. He even has an alias as the Rabbit Dude. That stupid costume! I want to warn everybody about this guy before they lose their hard earned money too. This guys drumming ability is actually okay. when he isnt drunk! Save your time, hire a DJ!

I am absolutely amazed at the sheer nonsense I am reading regarding the supposed misconduct of Judd Steele. I have known Judd for over 20 years and I have personally hired him to play drums at over 10 or more venues. He has always displayed the utmost professional demeanour and conduct at all performances. I have never, in 20 years seen Judd drink or arrive at an engagement late or in a manner other than that of an absolute professional musician. He has always maintained and impressed all of my guests with his gregarious personality. To entertain the notion that Judd arrived ANYWHERE dressed in a bunny costume intoxicated is absurd.
Furthermore, making an accusation that Judd made a sexual advance at a child is not only ludicrous, but also dangerously bordering on criminal slander. Judd is a father of 4 very well balanced, loving children that, when asked, will give you nothing but glowing reviews of his parenting. The reason I am writing this rebuttal is because I happened to come across this "ripoff report" while surfing the internet and was compelled to write a true synopsis of Judd's character, which is and continues to be nothing but professional, reliable and and a true talent in his musical art of drumming and performing. I, as well as my colleagues will continue to utilize Mr. Blounts musical skill for any of our future venues.

{5 days ago by judddrums} I am glad somebody has been watching this guy John Schmutzer (mcccars09). He was a liar back then when you talked to him and he still is a liar now. After I paid him in full, which was supposed to cover everything and 8 weeks to build, I suddently owe an additional $25-30,000 in storage fees and I can't have the car unless I pay it. WTF? Schmutzer hates my guts because I am finding victims from all over the world that have been screwed by him and Richard Cosentino. This led me to contribute to a website (((Redacted))) You can email any of the 13 victims (and counting) listed. I know this has caused their business to decline even though Schmutzer keeps bragging his sales are up. I just feel the need to keep warning people of this ebay scammer. Unfortunately, this idiot keeps chasing me around different forums, trying to discredit me by making all sorts of outrageous accusations, and if any were true, I would be in prison already. What he doesn't know is that everybody that knows me in L.A. knows who I am and what I do and with this, I don't have to worry about a thing. He's not hurting my business. By the way,it has been more than twice that Schmutzer has changed his ebay user name and most of the pictures he uses are stolen. See you next year Schmutz and Cosentino. I am not going away.
