This judge disregards any laws made to have a fair probate, Once he decides he dislikes you, he makes his own laws, his unfair penalties, unfair judgements and treatment, including but not all inclusive of telling my lawyers he did not like me and thought I was a liar, disallowed me paying off bills of the estate, and has forced me to sign illegal papers or go to jail. The nightmare has gone on over 10 years and has financially destroyed me, and it still continues.

I would be happy to share my continuing complaints about (expletive deleted) Maher. He has yet to make a decission that was due about a year ago and meanwhile the Legal fees continue to build up because he drags the Attorneys into the Court for NO reason. UGH!!!

I had almost the exact same treatment from Judge Maher. From the start he claimed I was a "trophy wife" dispite the fact that we had been married 19 years, and treated me like a liar and an idiot. He said, right out, that he did not "like" my answers, even though they were true and accurate. Apparently, they did not fit with his pre-conceived notions. Worst of all, he completley disregarded the Trust Document.
The case went on for over 10 years. His judgement was outrageous, and completely overturned on appeal. Now he is stalling on a continuing issue that he doesn't care for, and on which he is trying to avoid making the proper decision. The issue has been posponed several times over months... last time because he had been on vacation and just had not had time to review it. PLEASE, this had been going on for YEARS !!!
He is an incompetent, biased, lazy Judge and a disgrace to the legal system.
