Complaint Review: Julia Groody

 I first saw the ad for PRO LIFT SERUM  as a pop up. I was attracted to the price of a free skin care sample and the fact that the company were keen for people to test their product. Little did I know that that the initial £1.99 post and package would grow tp over £170.00 pounds in less than 7 weeks. I ckecked my bank details and was horrified to see that the company had taken this money.  At this time I had not received anything from the Pro Lift Serum people apart from a spam notification that my product was being sent out as per my subscription. My family had suffered the loss of my elderly Mother at this time and obviously I was upset and distracted. Thats when the trouble really started.  I usually check my on line bank details but given the time and circumstances I just omitted to do this.  When I noticed the amounts missing over less than 7 weeks I panicked. Called the Pro lift company which was in fact known as Global Fulfilment and was based in Florida. It took a long time to get through from the UK as calls are redirected from London to the USA.  When i spoke to one operative I asked him if he was speaking from London he said yes but when I asked for the address the line went dead. After numerous attempts I got through to Florida again and was advised by another operative that the free offer was the window to a subscription. When I explained I wouldnt spend that kind of money on cream and felt mislead the adviser was non-plussed. I asked if my money could be refunded as the cream gave me a skin rash , to which she replied NO Madam ! So I have spent all day arguing with this firm and trying to block more money leaving my account by informingt the bank. I feel this company are corrupt in the worst way. There must be thousands of women world wide caught by this scam.  To add insult to injury I haven't seen any products from this company arrive at my door.
