I closed this account in January - then an unauthorized charge went through in march 08...not my fault...I did not know of the charges until I went to buy a car and they showed me my credit report...the account had an old email address attached to it on the account and was disconnected so I never received a email regarding the unauthorized charge. So now 4 months of late fees and on my credit has a negative and I lost points of my 769 score.

I immediately called - told them they let the charges go through not me.
I was told by a supervisor that if I make the payment to the account of 35.83 -- the late fees would go away and removed from credit reporting.
Because they charged a closed account - and I did not authorize it!! Then they say they can not remove late fee's after reviewing...reviewing what - their error!! So I still owe them 165.03.

If their computer had any brains they would of seen the email stating the email address was closed. Again not my fault...I thought the account was closed.
