IF your getting Juniper credit card offers in the mail every other day, beware of accepting them. They may offer a good fixed rate, however, if you actually use the card the company may intentionally try to crash your credit score to get the default high interest rate.

I used the account for some small things, mostly for a balance transfer to their lower rate card. Within three days of using the card, Juniper cut my credit limit in half, down to the amount I had charged and transferred, to put my Juniper card in high limit. I paid them off completely realizing I'd made a mistake within a few day of dealing with this company. They're currently holding my check as long as the law allows, long enough to falsely report my account is in high limit. All this occurred within the first billing cycle.

You don't want to try to deal with customer service once they get their hooks into you. Just throw their offers away. Fortunately I was able to pay them off, if they ever clear the payment.
