We bought our vehicle from Haydocy about three months ago. At that time, this vehicle had been on the lot for three days. Approx. three days later we went to check the fluids in the vehicle, finding our oil was never changed and that the power steering fluid was low. Calling and advising of this, they offered to detail out the vehicle and do the work that was needed.
Now three months later, we need brakes and a tune up? Upon taking the vehicle in for detailing that we fought to get, they were told to check these items. I received a call at my work that it would cost us about 250.00 or more for the brakes. Not on a good day was I going to pay for something that was in need or near need when the vehicle was purchased, Period. My husband called, Mr. Haydocy and spoke with him over this and the offer was made to replace this free of charge. You think it ends there? Not on a bet!
We recieved the call that the vehicle would be ready by 3pm, which my husband, teen daughter and a friend went to get the vehicle. What came next was hard to believe, there was damage to the vehicle, which they were still detailing out. The buffer either had a bad edge or was the wrong compound used. It took the paint off right to the bare metal under the sliding door, (approx 6inch area, down under the body) and chipping and swirl scratches all around the vehicle and pits. There are several dings and on the top of the van is weight pots where the person that did the buffing was on there knees. You can see were they went up on the drivers side and going accross. When this was brought to there attention, they would not back up this damage. But, the man that did the buffing admitted he did buff the vehicle and repeated himself as if to say we were saying he did not. At that time the man that my husband brought this to, attempted to shut the worker up. My husband went to Mr. Haydocy, letting him be aware of the damage, not only did Mr Haydocy tell my husband, *We could call this even for the free work he did on the van*, also told my husband we were scamming him? But, at the same time, Mr. Haydocy, which was overheard by the daughter and her fried call my husband a F***ing DumbA**. We did call the law, they refused to do a report saying that it was concidered, not deliberate. So, we call our insurance and turn it in.
Were are very upset over this situation and will attempt to make sure this never happens to anyone else.
