Complaint Review: Just Brakes

2 years ago, I had a $99.88 advertised special which ended up costing me $406.82. All parts and labor were guaranteed for 50,000 miles pro-rated. One item they did was to turn my brake drums. All of this stemmed from my brake wear indicator squealing, as they are supposed to do.

20,000 miles later, my "brake" problem indicator comes on so I grab my guarantee and rush back to get repairs. They claim my drums were out of spec and could not be turned.

Must be replacedalong with wheel cylinders, that were supposed to have been installed as new the first time, and they could do nothing until they replaced my master cylinder for which they wanted $300 for a $50 part!!!!!

If they have a 50,000 mile guarantee, why do they turn drums that will only last less than half of that and then they "need" to be replaced at full price, ( God only knows what that would have been ).

I am unemployed and got my "king sized" spouse to help me retrieve my car before I had to file bankruptcy. These people prey on innocent victims!
