My grandfather is 88 years old and still gets around fairly well. He likes to be as independent as possible. He is not the man he use to be ( "who is, at 88" )
He went in for a simple brake check up and ended up with a $1200 brake job.

My grandfathers truck only has 50K miles on it, and more than likely needed some new pads or to be adjusted. They talked him into getting new hardware, new wheel cylinders, and two new brake shoes. That was $415

After he left he started having problems with the brakes so he took it back a week later. They said he really needed new rotors, calipers, pistons, and bearings. This time the bill came to $760.

So, within a week two trips were made to Just Brakes and close to $1200 was spent on work that I know was not needed.

My grandfather is a proud and honest man a took advantage of him just because they could. I am in the initial phase of complaints, but by the time I am done that location and the manager will never take advantage of an elderly person again.
