Complaint Review: JUST BRAKES - Palm Harbor Florida

On December 7, 2006, I took my 98 Dodge 2500 truck in for brakes only, when it was all said and done I paid over $1,200 due to things that they said were required to be safe on FL roads. Half of the things they did I found out later were not needed. And they were also Drinking Beer while working on my truck and yes I have pictures of it.

I even sent the pictures to corp, go figure never heard anything about it.

Today 7/31/08 I took my truck in for front brakes ( I was told that were covered under the Warranty. And to my surprise, NO Miss, your brakes are not covered due to the fact it is a 3/4 ton truck. WHAT????? I was reassured several times that they were. And today they said to fix my brake issues would be (are you ready for this price ticket???) $1,500.00. And if that is not bad enough, they will not warranty any of it.

I called a parts store to see how much the parts were if I were to do the job myself and ........................ only $550 for the parts.
