Complaint Review: Just Brakes - Atlanta Georgia

We were taken advantage of by Just Brakes in Atlanta, Georgia. We knew we needed brake pads - however - according to them we needed caliphers, pads, shoes, roters, etc. etc. This also was an all day event. Also - every time we would call to check on the car they would say they "found" something else and the price was now something higher. We finally got out of there at about $750.00. We were OK thinking that we needed to have this done.

However - not less than 5 days later the brakes were squeeking, making a "clanking" noise - you could tell that something wasn't right. We have since taken it to a reputable mechanic who says he hears the same thing all the time about Just Brakes. They use shoddy parts and many times don't perform the work you have been charged for. Also, upon showing the new mechanic the invoice from Just Brakes, he showed that the way they write up the invoice you can't really tell what they did.

Thanks for this website - I only wish I had check this out BEFORE we got taken.
