Complaint Review: JUST BRAKES

I took my truck in for the $99.88 brake job. I was called at work by the manager to tell me that that my rear brakes were close to failing because the "springs were stretched out like accordians" He told me that they may last for awile, but that brake failure was close.I told him if it was that serious to go ahead and replace the rear brake kits like he suggested.

I arrived at the stores location a little early and my truck was not ready(still up in the air)I looked at the brakes that they were installing and all the old parts weres till in the pan under my wheels, I asked him what was wrong with the old brake parts and that's when the run-a-round began. He showed me spring and it looked like the one that they just replaced. He then said "well, this is not the one off your truck. we throw away all the old parts.I kept the old parts. He then stated that, well, the brake cylinders were bad and that the technician could FEEL moisture on the old cylinders. Well, it had been raining all day I guess there would be some moisture up in there. I also noticed that all the technicians wore rubber gloves to protect their hands, how can they FEEL MOISTURE.

To top it all off, they even bent up the side step rails on my truck.Brake Job = $386.11 / Bent rails = $500.00/ SUING THEIR ASSES = PRICELESS
