Just Brakes Tried to charge over $600 for a $300 brake job. Put my brakes back together wrong after I said no resulting in me paying $400 to get job done. Spring Texas
Went to Just Brakes to get $100 brake job on rear brakes. They took off all 4 wheels and took brake pads off car for an inspection.
They wanted over $600 to replace brakes on all 4 wheels plus rebuilding calibers. I said no and told them to put the car back together.
Started getting grinding from rear wheels. Went to regular mechanic I use and they said they had reassembled the rear brakes wrong.
My original quote to get the rear brakes down was $300 but due to the damage to the rear it cost me $400.
Should have trusted my original mechanic. Later found out that this shop has a history of over charging and charging for not needed work.
