My $99 brake job cost me $620 before I got out the door. A short time later, we had trouble with the van shaking when the brakes were applied. I took it to a different Just Brakes store. They told me that some idiot cut the rotors to thin. I showed them the paperwork to let them know that their company did the work. They said they would do the repairs without labor cost.

It still cost me another $280. On Aug. 29, we were headed out of town. My wife applied the brakes and it felt like we ran over something big and the brake peddle hit the floor. We were lucky to be next to a Tire Kingdom. When the mechanic pulled the drums off the brake linings fell out. It blew both wheel cylinders and something called a proportioning valve.

The repairs cost me $514. The proportioning valve was a dealer item so we had to wait until the next day for that. The mechanic told me that they do a lot of repairs for people that have been to Just Brakes.

I emailed Just Brakes and gave them my complaint. They have not responded. We could have been killed due to their faulty work. If you value your life, find some other company to do your brake work.
