Kisha Mays, founder of Just Fearless, LLC created the Women Empowering Women tour in which she hired about a dozen interns to take advantage of free/cheap labor with the promise of receiving a stipend in April and then another in June to cover the expenses they incurred for using their own phones and travel. None of which, both the tour and the stipends have ever come to fruition.

Unprofessionally she canceled many tour dates less than 24 hours before the date and did not inform her interns or people who purchased tickets to the convention. When it came time to reimburse the interns she pushed back their first payment date and then again in June until she canceled the entire tour last minute and refused to pay said interns. She does not respond or follow up in timely fashion and lacks ethics. Each time an intern became aware of the scam and resigned, Kisha followed up with an attacking email to them in a very unprofessional way.

She also has failed to pay independent contractors for services that have been rendered for things unrelated to the tour. She claims to have the funds to cover all her expenses including workers but does not. She is broke.

Please beware if you purchase tickets that there will be no event and if you're looking for a job or an internship, run! You will not receive anything that was promised to you. She's a crafty scammer who may believe the lies that come out of her mouth. She'll promise you the world and make it sound capable but follows through on nothing. She also has no respect for your religious beliefs and will push her G-d on you and her religion. She has no respect for the people she hired who do hard work while she pulls the veil over them.

Be careful when it comes to this "company" she's a good manipulator and makes you want to believe and then tears you down. She's a complete waste of time.

I feel compelled to respond these FALSE claims. Take note of the person that wrote these FALSE claims was not bold enough to leave their name. If someone has a complaint, they typically leave their name unless they are lying or trying to maliciously hurt someone on FALSE claims as in this case. 

I founded this company, Just Fearless, LLC, with the sole intent of creating events that empowered women and also gave back to charities that support and empower women. This has been and continues to be accomplished over the last 4+ years Successfully. 

I have an idea of who wrote this as this person has a history of doing this to other companies. However, because the person was not "honest" enough to leave their name rather than just, "Unheard," I will leave it at that.

The false statement of "hiring a dozen interns....." is completely false. My company has posted internships on www.internjobs.com like most companies but only in seek of a select few who wanted to learn and get their foot in the door. 

I myself interned years ago to get experience in doing the events that my team and I do now! People opened the door for me when I first started and I worked my butt off for them as an intern, so I have the done the same for a few. 

Other false claims include canceled tour dates in 24 hours, promised stipends, canceled tour, failure to pay independent contractors, scam, not respecting religious beliefs, no respect for people, interns reigned and attacking email, not responding and following up, etc. 

Every single statement in that report is a lie and malicious with the sole intent of a personal vendetta by a former intern that was a complete failure and every statement made in their interview and resume I now know was a lie. 

Beware of who you bring into your company even as an intern, had I done the proper research or even Googled this person I would have never allowed this person to intern with my company. I was fooled by their amazing interview and resume. I now know that even for interns you MUST do background checks and check references and best of all Google Checks. 

As I said, this person has history of it which is readily available in Google but I did not Google this person until after the fact when this person started a nasty vendetta against my company starting with this report. Now, just like with previous companies, this person is determined to hurt a program that is meant to empower women. 

Over Four years of doing these events SUCCESSFULLY with sponsors, charitable partners, video footage, and photos to PROVE it! I will not be undermined by someone who hides behind a fictitious name and lies and states malicious slander in order to berate a company because that person was removed as an intern from this company for failure to follow instructions, handle internship duties appropriately, and unprofessional emails talking to me as if I worked for that person (some would call insubordination) which I think can be used for an intern as well. 

Beware of who you allow into your company, or life for that matter, as some people are so vicious that they go to unbelievable levels to bring something or someone down rather than being an adult about it, they stoop to child like levels. 

Two bad seeds I have had to deal with this year (my first time ever allowing interns to work with my team and I) because I thought with interns reference checks were not necessarily needed as they were only interning part time and not having to deal with even close to half of things I dealt with when I interned for other companies years ago. Lesson learned and I'll never make this mistake again! Luckily for me, that will NOT stop me and my team from doing this event again SUCCESSFULLY.
