My experience with Just-leather.com began in December 2004. I placed an order for leather jackets for me and my husband. My husband wanted to surprise me and he also placed an order for a jacket but just for me. Our cards were charged but no jackets ever came. I tried to use the live chat-no luck. I emailed Matt-no response.

After several unanswered emails and no returned phone calls, I called again and when his answering machine came on, I spoke in a loud voice and told him to pick up the phone immediately or I would be reporting him to the authorities. He picked up the phone and was so smooth. He told me the jackets had been shipped. I explained to him that I no longer wanted the jackets and wanted to cancel both orders because by then it was too late to receive by Christmas. They said they would cancel the order and credit our card. They didn't do it and still, no jackets arrived in the mail.

So here's the best part of my story. Just last week, Matt Sherman, charged my card again for my order. $159.97. We, again, emailed him and he responded by saying that they had a "glitch" in their system and our card would be credited "momentarily. Well, that was 7 days ago, and still no credit. We have contacted our bank and they have credited our account.
I am preparing a letter to be sent to the NJ Attorney General and will be contacting a lawyer in NY as well.
How does Matt sleep at night?
