when me and my wife went to look at vehicles from this dealer, they had a 2002 dodge they just wanted us to get. when we test drove it i told them it did not take off right . the truck hesitated on take off. they said it was because it was the way that motor did. when we were doing the paperwork, they were supposed to be doing a checklist and checking the truck out to make sure nothing was wrong. they said everything was fine.

when we were driving off the lot i noticed the four wheel drive did not work.i took it right back to them and they were supposed to have ordered the part.that same day the right side of the front was making a scrubbing sound when you turned right.they told me it was just the kind of tire that was on it.

come to find out if i had drove it any further than to my mechanic,i might have had a wreck.it turned

out to be both front wheel bearings.then the check engine light came on and they told me it was nothing and they cleared it.when i left the dealership it came back on.at that time,i had it checked out and it was the transmission code.i got my wife to take it to the transmission shop and they told me that the transmission had to be replaced.

i took it back to the dealer and the mechanic said he would have it checked.he called me that next morning and said the transmission was fine,so i got them to get the owner, burle right, to come to the dealership and him to have it checked.he did and he also got told the transmission was bad. the only thing they offered is to pay half of what it costs for a transmission and i do not think it is right for me to have to pay anything.

through all of the problems from day one,i still made my payments, until the day i left it with them to be checked.they have not called to offer anything else or to see if i wanted them to get it fixed or nothing.

they will not give us our money back either.

"the check engine light came on and they told me it was nothing"

The check engine warning light always indicates the possibility of a potentially serious problem.

"the truck hesitated on take off. they said it was because it was the way that motor did."

That should have been all you needed to take off because that is the way a smart buyer responds.

You failed to use common sense and set yourself up to get ripped off.

I cannot understand why people allow themselves to be ripped off.

Some people beg to get ripped off.

Thoroughly check out any vehicle BEFORE buying.

AND, most important, get everything in writing!!!

NEVER believe anything some sleazbag salesman tells you!

How do you know when a salesman is lying? (His lips are moving).

What kind of WRITTEN warranty did you get?

Based on the way you communicate, I assume that you just aren't too smart.

This is all just plain old common sense.

If you don't know enough about vehicles, don't buy one unless you take someone with you that does!

Car sales is the sleaziest business in existence!

WAKE UP!

Check the link above.  Hope this helps.  Be sure research the unfair and deceptive acts and practices (UDAP) laws and the uniform commercial code in your state as there may be something there to help you get your money back.

In the future, it is always a good idea to have your own mechanic look over any vehicle before you make any purchase.  If the lot has any objection to letting you take the vehicle to your own mechanic, there is normally something they are attempting to hide.  At this point, leave and don't look back.

Also, no tire will ever make a scrubbing noise unless it rubbing on something.
