I asked a question on www.justanswer.com on 10/29/2008 and was asked what I wanted to pay $10, $20, $30., etc. Only $30.00 and up works on this site. I was asked if I wanted to pay extra and I clearly said NO! But I was double charged anyway and I found out when my credit card statement came.

So, on 11/23/2008 I e-mailed them since there's no phone # for the site and the # for www.justanswer.com on the billing statement , is never picked up. I requested a refund on that email and the response was that I would receive my refund.

I emailed them again on 1/10/2009 because nothing has been done about the overcharge. It turns out that they did not credited or refunded my money, which I'm still paying interest on in my credit card, but they did leave an 'open balance' for me on their site so that I can ask another question and get ripped off again!

I just receive an email from a "Chase" person stating that they had reactivated my account and now I can ask another question. Do they want me to pay another $30.00 twice to ask when will they credit/refund my money? Or how can I get their greedy hands out of my pocket?

I've e-mailed every email address on that site and even the CEO Andy Kurtzing and have gotten no response other that the email from 'Chase' to come on back to get robbed again.

JustAnwer.com is a scam and all those people who are rebutting the negative comments about them must be JustAnswer.com staff, CEO and people with some investment in that thieve-infested-nest

You pay when you click Accept. Obviously you asked a question which you did not click accept on, so you ripped off the expert who helped you. Then you tried to ask another question.

If you want your money back, log into your account and go to justanswer.com/refund.aspx

If you READ the 'how it Works' on the site.. which you should have done as a 'responsible customer' you would know this, and would not be here bitching and moaning about being a stingy ripoff of a customer, when someone is only trying to help you..

So who is ripping who off?
I mean.. you can go ask one of those free sites, but you will most likely have some 9 year old kid answering you.

On 1/11/09 I used Justanswer.com for the first time. I am currently unemployed and on food stamps. First time in 57 years. Considering the question concerned a health issue regarding one of my pets I actually felt embarrassed offering to pay only the lowest amount ($9.00) for a response.

I received a response within five minutes. The response was inline with my suspicions. I will continue to use "Justanswer.com" when necessary. Once I get back on my feet I will always offer to pay the maximun amount and donate additionally as is asked on the page where they make their request.

The "Value" of their prompt response was far greater than the cost of just rushing my pet to the vet. It has been only an hour or so since I contacted Justanswer and I have followed their suggestions. I don't know if my pet will make it but I do know I received some very useful information which may have saved his life.

While I cannot address the double billing: simply ask yoourself if the additional charge was worth it. I honestly do suspect they will resolve the issue in your favor if you sincerely feel you have been slighted.

Respectfully submitted,

Brian in Georgia.
