JUSTHOST.COM Is FRAUD! Guarantee Agreement On Their Site Is False WEB HOSTING FRAUD Wilmington, Delaware
If there is anyone who is thinking of doing business with JUSTHOST.COM. do not do this
DO NOT DO THIS!! I wanted to purchase a domain name for my new business. I search different web sites, decided to try them. Read all information I could find. I dug deep believe me. Found a easter egg (easter egg in computer language is a imbedded link) says I get 20% off. Thought cool. Here there website adversting says4 years at $165.60 - equal to $3.45 per month
3 years at $142.20 - equal to $3.95 per month
2 years at $118.80 - equals $4.95 per month
12 months at $71.40 - equal to $5.95 per month
6 months at $41.70 - equal to $6.95 per month plus $9.95 domain registration
Monthly $7.95 per month Plus $20 set up fee and $9.95 domain registration
Only they leave out the part where they will charge (or take the full amount out) and they leave that 165.60, 114.20, 118.80, and so on out completely and NO they do not tell you there is neither a 20 fee nor a domain registration fee. They do not show a bill (the amount). They want my credit card. Dumb **** me gives it to them, then, I get hit with the 98.00. I immediately hit the cancel the account. NO way would they stop the account Talk about hitting the roof, I hit it and she was still hitting it tonigt.
This morning I immeditately called my bank cancel that card, and I plan to appeal that charge. They wiped out my bank account, and put my checking account into overdraft fees.
This is the emails; from the time I wrote and told them to cancel to last: If you would prefer to move onto another price plan then please let me know and i shall assist you with this. If you would prefer to continue with the cancellation, please let me know
I shall look forward to hearing from you shortly.
Kind regards

This evening after being stress out all day I wrote Just Host another email
Because of the practice that you people do, you caused my bank acount to go into overdraft. And because you caused this, I cancelled the card and I will fight this. When this hits my bank account, I plan to appeal this.
You never gave me the amount before you asked for my credit card number. If I had seen the amount, I would never had gave you my credit card.
And no you did not show me the whole package. And no you did not give me the chance to opt out of that. And you want to charge me $20.00 to cancel this. I do not think so. YOU WILL NOT FRAUD AND RIP ME OFF, BECAUSE YOU THINK YOU CAN.
I will dispute this charge.
Their response. Thank you for your email.
> I am sorry for the problems that you have encountered please let me know if you would like me to cancel your account and issue you with a full refund?

my response
Yes I want my account closed and NO you will not charge me $20.00 to close the thing.
Because if my money is not back in my bank account and that overdraft fee is not took off my account where I am in the black instead of the red, then I will take it further. Believe me, I will report you to every Better Business Bureas in every state if I have to.
His response to this
Thank you for your email.
I can confirm that I have issued a refund for the full amount of 94.80 and have cancelled your account.
Kind Regards

I also filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and the Better Business Buruea.
The Better Business ask what
The BBB ask me what I want to happen
This is what I said.
Desired Settlement: Refund
Desired Outcome:
I want my money back in my bank account immediately. I want them to show the FULL price on their homepage and NOT buried so deep it would take a computer geek to ferret out the true pricing. And I want them to give the custumers the option of opting OUT before they ask for a credit card number . (I never once seen how much it was going to cost, before my bank account was wiped out and was put immediately into overdraft fees, because they took it before I could stop it.
