Complaint Review: Justin Schiltz

Justin Schiltz is a deadbeat dad, nothing new in this world, but tends to think that he is going to get away with it. My son is soon to be a teenager, his father now owes over $30,000.00. His wife has stated in a letter that not even when they are in their fifties will they be repaying these debts. It is not the wife I want to hold up to the responsibility, it is the father that seems to feel that it is ok to stop paying when he can't afford it, but the three kids under his roof are well taken care of.

My main concern is for my son's well being, he is a good kid, great grades and has many friends. I moved to a bigger town a year and a half ago and he has done great here with all the new things it has to offer. I was told by me ex's wife in the same letter that I should move back to the small town where we lived before if I was having a hard time with money. I stay in the town we live in, not for me but for my son who will have more chances at a better life. I don't feel that where I live has any effect on whether his father should pay child support, further more it states in the child support order that medical insurance is to be provide by the father, that has not been done since 1997.

My son's father had been paying less than half of what had been ordered for child support off and on for about 2-3years, but now has all of a sudden lost his job. I do what I need to to take care of my children I do not expect anything less from him just because he chose to move to a different country, nor does his son. I am not going to say I have been the perfect mother, but I do my part that is more than I can say for Justin Schiltz.
