Boston Children's Hospital conspired to kidnap and abuse Justina Pelletier and Eithene Hilliard in an effort to boost hospital profits instead of implementing neccesary treatment to cure these two young female patients of their chief complaint. Both of these patients are afflicted with mitochondrial disease. However, instead of giving the proper treatment, "One of the Best Hospitals in the Country" Is doing one of the worst things imaginable to them and their families; they are effectively holding these children hostage in order to boost profits.  

Justina Pelletier was diagnosed with mitochondrial disease by doctors at Tufts Medical Center. Justina was supposed to be transferred in an ambulance, for insurance purposes, to the Boston Children's Hospital, and brought through the emergency room and seen by a gastrointestinal doctor. Instead, upon arriving, she was stopped and evaluated by a neurologist, who, didn’t look at her medical history or contact her other doctors. Boston Children's doctors essentially said the problem was "all in her head"... psychosomatic. When the parents attempted to take their daughter back to Tufts, Boston Children's Hospital called in the goon squad headed by certified quack, Dr. Celeste Wilson, M.D. – Medical Director. 

Celeste Wilson and her storm troopers, Beth Holleran, LICSW – Program Director and CPT Consultant, Beth Jones, LICSW – CPT Consultant/Generalist, Pamela Chamorro, LICSW – CPT Consultant, Jessica Henderson Daniel, PhD – Psychologist/Consultant, Deborah Sorrentino, RN, FNP-BC – Nurse Liaison to DCF, Chelsea Reddin, LICSW – Clinical Coordinator, CPCS, Kelly Haynes, RN, JD – Associate General Counsel, Kristen MacGlashing, LICSW – CPT Consultant/Generalist, Katie Welsh, LICSW – CPT Consultant, Stephen Post – Administrative Associate, Kimberly Luciano – Administrative Associate and these degenerate scumbags immediately went into action. First they harnessed the power of their lackey idiot, Judge Joseph Johnston who immediately bent over, grabbed his ankles and issued a 51A order (legal kidnapping). Then the hospital placed Jessica in a psych-ward for almost a year as she continued to get worse from her disease.  Add to the fact that this scumbag judge put a "gag-order" in opposition to the family's 1st amendment right to free speech (because, God forbid the world find out what these evil a-holes are doing to this poor child).

Not only is there Justina Pelletier, who has been held at Boston Children’s Hospital for 11 months after her parents lost custody of her over accusations of medical child abuse – something they vehemently oppose — but there are now a handful of other similar stories coming to light where parents were stripped of their ability to oversee their child’s care at Boston Children’s Hospital. Jessica Hilliard is one of them.

Hilliard’s relationship with Boston Children’s Hospital dates back to 2006. Her daughter, Eithene, was born with multiple birth defects, so Jessica and her husband would live at the hospital for hundreds of days a year over the next five years. When she was 2 1/2 years old, the Eithene’s condition began to worsen. Combining knowledge from her own scientific degrees – Hilliard currently studying for a Masters in bioethics – and doing her own research, as many parents with access to the Internet these days would also do, Hilliard suggested to hospital physicians that her daughter be tested for mitochondrial disease. 

This is the same complex disease that 14-year-old Justina Pelletier was diagnosed with. “When we approached Children’s with the possibility it was mitochondrial disease, we were immediately met with resistance,” specifically from the hospital’s genetics and metabolism departments, Jessica Hilliard said. But they kept pressing and eventually had a sample of muscle tissue taken from their daughter’s thigh. This test is the “gold standard” for a mitochondrial diagnosis. 

Cases of misdiagnosis at Boston Children's Hospital are quite common. The hospital says Justina Pelletier really has a psychiatric disorder. They then tried to use this same, lame excuse with the Hilliards.  Undesrstand that the Hilliards are not alone in thinking that something was physically wrong (likely mitochondrial disease) with their daughter. The genetics department that had analyzed her daughter’s muscle sample “didn’t believe the results,” which favored a diagnosis of mitochondrial disease. Instead of telling the Hilliards of this initial finding, the doctors withheld the information for three months while they got another specialist elsewhere to test the sample. That specialist eventually agreed with the mito diagnosis.

Bottom Line: Steer clear of Boston Children's Hospital and the incompetent doctors that work there. If you value the life of your child, avoid this institution that will not hesitate to use the rubber-stamping stooges at DCF and the courts to do their bidding....It's all about profits. Period.
