Although Mr. Sherman rebutts all of the accusations against him, I too have been the victim of his questionable business practices. I placed an order with a VISA card on 12/16/2004 and $57.94 was removed from my checking account on 12/20. On 12/22 I phoned the company to confirm my shipment.

I was informed by the gentleman who answered the phone that my order had been shipped, and the shipping had been "upgraded" to ensure arrival before xmas. I had requested 12/23 delivery date upon ordering. However, upon a check with UPS this date, I was informed that although they received the billing information, no pick-up was ever scheduled. Subsequently, my wife will only receive her stocking stuffers to unwrap on xmas morning. Additionally, Justleather is closed on xmas eve. A company that is ensuring xmas deliveries should definitely have a csr on xmas eve to correct any problems in orders scheduled for xmas delivery. Mr. Sherman, I am not hiding behind any door! my order# is 1539856-1. How are you going to explain this away? I would suggest that you refund my funds immediately. I do not want your merchandise as you have already screwed up my family's xmas. I just want my $57.94 back overnight delivery. If you comply, then I will post an addendum to this complaint.

owner made good on restitution

In follow-up of my complaint of yesterday against just-leather.com. Mr. Sherman phoned and emailed me several times over xmas eve and xmas to apologize and offer restitution. Not only did he offer to refund my monies, but also to provide the merchandise free of charge. I have confirmed receipt of the refund by the 3rd party billing company. Although, I was very suspicious about his business practices, Mr. Sherman made multiple attempts to rectify the problem.
