K and R Distributing ripped off my 80 year old mother. Sold her a Kirby Vacuum for thousands of dollars. Vacuum does not work, they won't take it. She couldn't use the heavy clunky defective machine even if it did work, and even if she could assemble it.

They did not honor their part of the contract, hung up on me when I called to return it, are three hours away, say she would have to wait six weeks for service (yet sold it telling her service would be prompt, no problem, close by, etc.). Rude, abusive, deceptive sales practices - AND fraud upon an Elder.

K and R and Kirby Vacuum business model is based on fraud, unaccountability, abuse of unsuspecting customers. If you want a good door to door sold vacuum, go with a (((competitor's name redacted))).

sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company, ..plus, if you post a competitors name more than likely they will show up on search engines as a Rip-off! - - your comments on this policy are welcome. CLICK here to see why Rip-off Report, as a matter of policy, deleted either a phone number, link or e-mail address from this Report. In this case we removed an alleged competitors name

File in small claims court.  Is your mother mentally capable of making financial decisions? If not, that will aid in your case against the company. Also, if it is true, perhaps someone other than your mother needs to be handling her financial affairs.
