I have been a customer of this particular toy store since it opened in our area.. Last month, I was given a a card to get stamped each time I made a purchase of $25.00 or more. Once it was filled, you were supposed to get a 20% discount on your next purchase. I was told, when I asked the clerk... who was also doubling as the manager, that it was good at all K-B Toy stores and that it never expired.

Today, I went into this store again, to finish shopping for my Grandson's Christmas and gathered items totaling more than $100.00. I was told, after they rang up my purchases that they were no longer accepting these cards. I think this is ridiculous, since I completely fulfilled my obligation of making the required purchases to be allowed to receive the discount.. I have telephoned them and sent emails also.

If I get no response, or no satisfaction from this company, you can bet that I have made my last purchase from them and will continue to spread the word of what rip-offs they are. If, on the other hand, they do satisfy my complaint, I will be happy to post that at such time as that happens. I'll keep you updated.

I have been an employee of K B toys for several years and I remember the program you are talking about. No the assosiacte should not have said it never expires. However if you read the card it will tell you that KB reseres the right to end the program at any time. Also about a month prior to the end of the prgram signs were hung in stores tell customers that the program was coming to an end.
