K&G Fashion Superstore Argumentative, Hostile Russian Tailor Dood Poor Quality Work Internet
Went to buy a suit at K&G. Took forever to find someone
to help me. And when i did find someone she had to keep leaving to take a
register and check people out.
Eventually Manager Glen stuck his nose in on me and helped me out. Great guy!
But you get what you pay for with these people...here it goes...
Payed them to open up the crotch in my new pants so i could move in them
without pulling.
Found some strings pulling loose and noticed the seam was not solid, so i
opened it up and noticed they only put one simple straight seam in the crotch.
The manufacturer puts a heavy seam in the crotch intentionally, so it tolerates
wash and wear.
When i brought back my pants and told Glen i was concerned about the quality of
the workmanship done on my pants, he brought me back to this big fat russian
dood who could understand the situation better than he.
When i explained to the BFRD that i was concerned about the quality of the
workmanship all he wanted to do was argue and take offense to my concern. He
said that any tailor in town would do the same thing he did. And he refused to
take the 1 minute needed to put a reinforcement stitch in the seam of my crotch
because he felt my dress pants were not clean enough for his fat a*s to sew.
So i went down the street to another tailor for that second opinion. at 5229
leetsdale drive. Luba Rotenberg was extraordinary in her kindness and she made
it clear that if she had let out the butt/crotch in a pair of pants so they
dont pull, she would definitely put a second stitch behind the first one, just
as a reinforcement so it is sturdy, like i expected the first time. She would
hate to see a customer return because the seam came apart. The BFRD somehow
thought that the pants fabric may rip before the seam, isn't that why he let out
the crotch? DUH Dumbass.
When you buy an expensive pair of pants. the crotch and other seams are always
made of either 2 back to back stitches or 1 single heavy stitch. To make it
reinforced.
Well to top it off, The people at "THE CUSTOME HOUSE" did not feel my
nice dress pants were too dirty to stitch. So luba went ahead and took 1 minute
to run a reinforcing stitch behind the first one to make it sturdy. And god
bless her, she didn't charge me a penny for her time. I will definitely be back
to see Luba at "The Custome House" for all my alteration needs.
