Complaint Review: K Hovnanian Homes

Started this process in Nov 2006 parade of home met with sells rep Roger on liberty on the bluff site Chanasssen Mn to get Idea what would cost. He left the company. We then had Carrie Pzynski we listed our home May 8th 2 007 gave them earnest money home sold in July 2007 closed. Aug 29th 2007 moved into apt. Carrie was a night mare to work with she never contacted us after we gave her the last of our earnest money totaling 8000.00 never started our home till aug 28th 2007 . carrie transfered to their Maple Grove site she never even contacted our relestate agent has he was working with us on this. I called he boss requested another rep on the site wer we buying at never happened after he said he would take care of it we had recieved so many excuses permit got held up because Chan high school took prioriy then was told survey person screwed up had to resubmit for new permit. Delivery date Dec2007 /Jan2008 went to see lawyer with purchase agreement. He told us they could keep 8000.00 after I lefty his office I called Barry White the CEO of the builder. He returned my call saying No you are not getting your 8000.00 back but I can get you a sales rep on the property and talked to the buliding manager on site to see if he could give ius an I dea when we would get into out home. Needless to say we said no bought with another builder and now moved into our new home point being this company has taken our money and wer feel they did not deliver we have been watching this site for a year now and units have set partly done for mths how many other people have th.ey do this to.When I spoke with Carries boss Craig all he could say was this is her comission and my reply was I am spending over 3000.000 this is my home I want a sales rep there who can keep me informed as to the progress That never happend as I said.I could go on and on about the lame excuses we recieved from this company we signed paper work with our relestate agent cancellation of purchase agreement. He showed us a letter fro Carrie saying we had to go to the site to sign termanation form theirs I told him she could mail it to us. We ant our money back as we feel they did not follow threw with delivery date and they can not even tell us for sure so we walked away.
