There has been too many people quiet about this breeder for too long just because they have money and show their dogs. The fact is well know among the clubs they are members of that their dogs are dying of cardio at young ages and have unstable temperaments. At the Oct. 2014 seminar by Benno Galonska in Topeka , KS , one such dog died from cardio right on the field in front of no less than two dozen witnesses ! Also , a National helper has refused to work with their dogs due to the unstable nature and the liability to him and other clients in attendance. The two dogs seen were out of control and vicious biters ! Others who have bought their dogs have had similar experiences with Kansa Dobes and have been blamed by the Matsons for the temperament issues of their dogs. I hope this helps other people avoid alot of heartache these people will cause them with their dogs and thier multiple issues.

First off , no one should have to go through something like that. But second , no breeder should treat their client that way ! I am so sorry and I hope that you don't think all breeders are like Doug and Jacque Matson.
As for your question ; No one has been able to verify the dog's name that collapsed with cardio at the event. Kansa Dobermans has so many females that they breed. Nobody really knows how many exactly. I am sorry you have fallen prey to them. From what everyone who has been to their residence says , it is a horrid place. Their house isn't fit for dogs. And the dog pens and barn are off limits to anyone except them but you can smell it ! But when you see them at events they appear to have money and prestige.
Did you get a health guarantee on your puppy ? In writing ? If so you need to contact an attorney , the Better Business Bureau, and even the Attorney General in your state. Do something to make them accountable ! The later two cost nothing to do. Good luck to you and I hope you can get some kind of justice !

Can anyone tell me the name of the dog in question here ? I bought a puppy from Kansa Dobermans out of Thor and Gator that has just recently died of DCM ! He was only 9 months old and when I contacted Doug Matson he was extremely rude and condescending to me and my family and our loss. He is an incredible jerk with an unbelievable attitude ! I am wondering if they knew that there was somethig wrong with this puppy prior to our purchase or if the health testing was questionable. And information would be extremely helpful !
