Kaplan College Kaplan University Fraud, Misrepresentation; Enrolled in wrong course Milwaukee Wisconsin
I attended Kaplan College in 2010, and left after a classmate told me I was not in a Nursing course. I went to my advisor about it and she showed me the contract I signed that said Medical Assistant Program. She apologized about not being clear about the courses they offered.
After I spoke with her about this, I was told there was nothing that could be done, because they didn't offer a Nursing Program. I then left the college, because I was not interested in being a MA. I never received a school refund, and now they are saying I must pay 1500 dollars to the school before I can receive my transcripts to enroll into another College.
I feel I was tricked into this course, and the advisor failed to be completely clear as to what programs were offered. (Even after I stated I was interested in nursing) I really don't think a college should get away with this.
Not to mention they have no record of the complaints that I filed back in 2010, because the location I was at and several others were closed down due to them losing there accreditation.
