I was hired by a company to represent them in insurance.I am a disabled vet and took the job because i don't receive enough money to make it.I was really excited about taking the exam and starting my new career.I was told by the company to order my study material through Kaplan Financial.I called the company and they wanted about $100 for a book and cd-rom(standard delivery) and about $120 for expedited service. The book itself was about $50 and $60 for standard delivery.I have been waiting for 2 weeks for my material and after calling to inquire about it,i spoke with Lauren. She said"Since you done it by mail instead of credit card,it was probably lost in the mail".I am seeking employment because i was let go by the USPS for winning an arbitration and being a disabled vet.I am the last person who should be taking up for them, but they are some hard working people left in the USPS,and
they take the blunt of critisism because of upper management and companys like Kaplan who say a "first-class" piece of mail no longer has any importance, unless we pay extra for a tracking device to be attached. It is
time someone spoke out about this.

Did you keep the stub from the money order?

If you kept the money order stub, you can track whether or not it was cashed and by whom.

Check the stub for contact information and call them with an inquiry. You will need the number that is on the end of the stub for the company to track it. If it was cashed, you can request proof to submit to Kaplan Financial which should result in getting the materials you ordered.

Hopefully, you kept it, but if not it is possible it was just delayed in the mail during the holidays...

Something to consider next time you need to order something - a prepaid MasterCard.

Good luck!
