I was mislead and lied to by Kaplan online college when I began attending. I was told my certificate from paralegal studies would be accepted in the state of Louisiana, however a local attorney informed me that was not the case. Kaplan has caused me tremendous debt which has affected my life negatively. Kaplan advisors lied to me saying they wanted to change my life for the better. The opposite has been the outcome for me. Now I have my tax refund taken from me when I file. I am very stressed out due to this debt. It not only affects me but my family as well because of bad credit. I feel this should be an illegal practice to prey on people in this way.
