Kaplan University Telling me I owe them more than what I went to school for. Fort Lauderdale Florida
I enrolled last year around September hoping I would get something out of going to Kaplan University especially since your on my company's website. A couple months after I enrolled I had a family emergency and I had to fly back home. I emailed all my professor's and I talked to my advisor they said It's ok that I take my leave as long as I make up my work when I get back so when I got back I made up all my work in about two weeks as I was told. My papers weren't graded none of my professor's would respond to me I didn't get a response from anyone so I decided to drop out. I thought logically that at the time I dropped out I would pay up to then, and not pay the whole term or what have you. I really can not afford paying $2,000 especially for something I didn't use. I don't know where all of this went wrong but you guys should work with me and not argue with me and tell me I need to pay like you did over the phone. There is absolutely no reason I should pay $2,000 when I didn't even finish school, if I did finish then I would have no problem paying you. Thank You

Every college/university or trade school will have the exact same policy...you drop out after a given amount of time...(usually after one or two weeks after classes begin) and you will be responsible to pay for the entire amount...even if you did not attend any more classes.
